Strong Encryption
This means that all data sent or received is scrambled while traveling between our computer and yours and reassembled at the other end. You will not be able to use Citibank® Online unless you have a browser that supports strong encryption.

Personal Identification Number
Your Citicard/Credit Card ATM Personal Identification Number (A-PIN) must be entered before you can use the service and will be shown coded on the screen whenever you type it so no one else can see it. For more information, see FAQs.

Time Out Period
This is triggered after three minutes of inactivity to help protect you against unauthorized access.

Some of the things you should do to take care of your own security

• Never tell anyone else your Citibank ATM Personal Identification Number (A-PIN).
Citibank will never ask you for it over the telephone, or in any electronic or
written message.
• Never write down your Citicard/ Credit Card A-PIN.
• Tell us immediately if you think someone else knows your A-PIN.
• Never lend your Citicard/Credit Card to anyone and be extremely wary if strangers approach you for help while you are using it.
• Remember to Sign off when you finish a session, or if you’re using the service at work, never leave your computer with your details on-screen.
