User's Guide Citibank® Online
has been designed to be as user-friendly as possible but if you
need any help using the features and tools, this
is where to start.
Login
You will be asked to enter your Citicard/Credit
Card number. You will also be asked if you want to save your
Citicard/Credit Card number on the computer to make later use
quicker. Please note: you should not select this feature if
you are not using your own PC. Also note that the card number
will be masked once it is saved, and only the last 4 digits
will appear.
You will be asked to
enter your Citicard/Credit Card A-PIN (ATM Personal Identification
Number). If you do
not have your APIN yet, please call 24-Hour CitiPhone on
16644 from Cairo and Alex for free
calls from outside Greater Cairo are at the long-distance tariff without the
need for subscription to long-distance service from abroad +202 2618 6200.
You will then
be asked to read through and agree to our terms and conditions.
If you click “I Agree”,
you can proceed into using the available services. If you click “I
Disagree”, then you will be returned to the homepage.
Logoff
Having done what you wanted, select the
Sign Off option at the top of the screen. This will close your
session.
As you Sign Off
you’ll be given the option
to see and print the details of what you’ve done during
that session.
What happens if you forget to Logoff? If your computer is inactive for
two minutes, then a Time Out facility is triggered to help
protect you
against unauthorized access. The Time Out message will pop up on
your screen. If you do not click the OK button, Citibank® Online
will automatically terminate your session after a further minute. If
you don’t wish to terminate your session, simply click Cancel instead
Using
a computer that isn’t exclusively
yours If you
are using a work computer, for example, never store your Card Number
on your computer or leave your account
details on-screen while
you’re away from your PC. Also, remember to Sign-Off!
Account Information You can get the following information on your Citibank
account(s) whenever you want:
Balance Summary
Gives you a quick glance overview of all your account balances
on one page. You can find more information on each account, either
by clicking on the specific
account on the balance summary screen, or by going through the Account Details
and Activity menu.
Account Details and Activity
By selecting the account you wish to view from a drop down
list, you will get details on your account, followed by
a complete description of all the transactions
that occurred on that account for up to the last 90 days. You can sort
the transactions by date, description or transaction type
in ascending or descending
order.
Download account activity
You can download your account activity, which can be used with
other software. You will have to select the period for
which you want the activity (with a maximum
of 90 days history), the format, and the account/accounts.
Transfers and Payments Allows you the flexibility of moving your money from one account to the other,
anytime.
Transfer between my account
All you have to do is select the account you want to transfer
from and the account you want to transfer to from a drop down
list of your accounts.
You must enter the amount you wish to transfer, and then enter your A-PIN
to confirm the transaction. Direct Debit • Set up a Direct Debit
You can set up a Direct Debit on of your accounts in order to ensure timely
payments for your credit card monthly statements. By selecting from one of
your accounts in a drop down list, and selecting either minimum balance due,
or entire balance, your credit card statement will automatically be taken
care of every month. Please note that you must ensure that your account has
sufficient balance prior to the date that your direct debit has been set
to. • See/Change Direct Debit
With this option, you can see details on an active direct debit, and change
the conditions or cancel the direct debit. You will be given the list of
cards that direct debits have been set for. By selecting the card, you will
be able to see and change/cancel the direct debit for that card.

Change
A-PIN
You can change the A-PIN of the Citicard/Credit
Card that you used to log in with. The change in PIN is activated
immediately, and will apply to all services
that require the usage of your APIN (ATMs, logging onto Citibank® Online,
confirmation of transactions by re-entering the APIN)
Order
Statement
You can order either a combined
statement for all your accounts, or a statement for a specific
account, by selecting the account from a drop down list.
Statements
can cover, from last statement to date, last month’s statement, last two months
or last three months.
Order
Checks
You can order your checkbooks by
selecting the number of checkbooks and the account that you
want the checks to be drawn on from a list of valid accounts.
Rewards
Redemption
You will be able to see an up to the minute number of rewards
points that you have accumulated on your Citibank Credit
Cards. You can redeem points from one,
or a combination of cards, by simply selecting the cards, entering the number
of points, and selecting the gift category and item from drop down lists.

Information
Foreign Currency Exchange Rates
You will be able to view up to 10 foreign currency buy and sell rates against
the Egyptian Pound
Interest Rates
Here, you will be able to view the prevalent interest rates on the available
Time Deposits
Messages
Read New messages Customer service will be able to respond to one
of your inquiries/requests by
sending you a message to your account’s inbox. You will be notified once you
log onto the menu screens, with a flashing red indicator on top of the “customer
service” menu, indicating the number of new messages you have received.
Send a message You can send messages to customer service to inquire about a
service or report a problem. To make things easier for you, we have created
standardized
message
forms for some of the types of inquiries you might have. You may use the “other” message
type to report/inquire about something that is not covered in the standardized
message forms.
