Securities Services are offered as a part of the Global Transaction Services product family, in 73 countries. Citigroup has been offering Securities Services in Egypt since 1995, and has been acclaimed every year as the top service provider for securities services since 1997. We are the market leader in this range of products, as well as in share of global custodian and broker/dealer businesses, having a rapidly growing presence in local custody (safekeeping services). The solutions offered include:
           •  Custody (settlement, safekeeping and corporate action/income collection)
           •  Clearing (Agency clearing for active brokers in the local market)
           •  Depository Receipts Services (settlement of GDRs, custodian for GDR agents)

Securities Services owns and manages its own network, lessening third parties involved in holding clients' assets, and our on-the-ground presence ensures that we provide clients with real time market information on changes affecting their business. Additionally, our distribution network offers the ability to handle very large transaction volumes and achieve market leading STP rates.
